My projects
This project expressed my disdain for Birmingham's urbanisation. Throughout my component two, this theme was a key aspect, and I decided to use my writing and photography skills to question whether I was being serious or whether I was irrationally passionate about my ‘hatred’ towards the city.
Manipulating colour was part of my component one project. This was a learning curve for me because it taught me how to utilise colour in the studio, that I still use to this day. I'm really proud of the photos I took, and they are definitely a staple in my photography.
This was my first degree project ‘beyond the ordinary’. I was drawn to the idea of desks, which are personal and intimate spaces that reveal different stories in the form of case studies, definitions of household objects, photographic techniques, and studying other photographers.
This mini project explores old family photos and the collection that I have of Kodak slides from my grandpa.
Some of my pages from my art sketchbook in A-level to illustrate the versatility of my practice.
